Video Series I
Leading intoBelonging
Leading into Belonging is a window into some of the leaders, practitioners, policymakers, experts, and young people all navigating the world of school belonging.
Conversations are hosted by Distinguished Educator Kathryn Riley, UCL Emeritus Professor of Education and Director of The Art of Possibilities. The programmes are filmed and edited by Dom Aquilina, consultant and leading practitioner.
The videos in Series I offer insights into why school belonging is so important today; what steps schools have taken to create rewarding school-belonging journeys, and how these journeys have benefited young people and adults alike.
You will find stories that reveal the day-to-day challenges of school life (the joyful highs and taxing lows); the positive practices that make the difference; the ways that leadership can set the tone, pave the way ahead; and the sense of agency and fulfillment that emerges as young people for staff come together to shape the belonging journey.
